The study behind these results

A randomized, placebo-controlled trial

30 adults with gingival inflammation, 21 days, double-blind vs. placebo — ClinicalTrials.gov NCT06029283.

Gum inflammation dropped by nearly half

  • Gum inflammation fell by >40% over 21 days.
  • Significant versus placebo (p = 0.0002).
  • Delivered via prebiotic nitrate formula, 3x daily.

The bacteria shifted, not just the plaque

  • NO-promoting bacteria significantly increased
  • Pathogenic/inflammatory bacteria significantly fell.
  • Plaque levels didn't change — the effect came from bacterial function, not plaque removal.

THE SCIENCE

It all starts with the oral microbiome

Prebiotic Nitrate is key for Oral-Heart Wellness

Not All Bacteria Are Bad

Many oral health products ranging from toothpastes to mouthwashes indiscriminately eliminate the bacteria in the mouth.

Your Oral Microbiome Matters

Studies have repeatedly shown that dysregulation of the oral microbial community is associated with poor oral and cardiometabolic health.

Your Mouth Starts the Process

A critical step in restoring oral and cardiometabolic health is dependent upon a microflora capable of starting the process of converting dietary nitrate to Nitric Oxide.

Why Nitric Oxide Matters

Nitric Oxide is typically made in our body to support natural immunity, calm inflammation, and ensure blood flow & oxygen delivery.

What Our Customers Say

Excellent product and worth the price given how important NO is to oral and overall health. I am all for preventative versus fixing problems later on. It also looks like a small family business and one of the few with clinical testing and patents. I am no doctor but for sure these lozenges taste good and make me feel better.

Sarah Johnson Verified Customer

These are amazing!! They taste so good. It's nice to have an alternative to harsh mouthwash. I feel like my mouth is instantly cleaner. My husband keeps taking them so I will be ordering more asap! Great product.

Emma Williams Verified Customer

This is a great product. It helps me sleep better without interruptions throughout the night. I have also observed an increase in stamina and a heightened sense of well-being. Highly recommended. I have tried other NO products but this is the only one I have found to be beneficial.

Amazon Customer Verified Customer

I started using these as part of trying to be more intentional about my health and energy as I get older. I stay active and work out regularly, so I was interested in something that supports circulation and stamina without adding another pill to my routine. These are easy to take and the mint flavor is mild and pleasant.

Lozenge Product

A slow-release, dissolvable lozenge formulated to support your body's natural nitric oxide production through the enterosalivary nitrate pathway — the process by which oral bacteria convert dietary nitrate into nitrite, which the body uses to support healthy circulation and oral wellness.

Most nitric oxide products bypass the oral microbiome entirely. Our lozenge is designed to work with it — the slow-dissolve format extends contact time in the mouth, supporting the oral bacteria responsible for converting nitrate into nitrite.

Dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth as part of your daily wellness routine — do not chew or swallow whole. For best results, take consistently at the same time each day.

1-3x per day. Nitric Oxide Lozenges are especially useful for restoring healthy oral bacteria after eating carbohydrate-rich or sugary meals, drinking, or using mouthwash — activities that can disrupt the microbiome that supports nitrate conversion.

Antibacterial mouthwash can reduce the oral bacteria responsible for nitrate conversion. Our lozenges are formulated to help support and restore that microbial balance.

The lozenge is formulated as a daily-use dietary supplement. As with any supplement, consult your doctor before use, especially if pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or managing a health condition.

No. This product is intended for general wellness support only and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Yes — the lozenge is vegan, gluten-free, and manufactured in a cGMP-certified facility.

The lozenge is a supplement designed to support nitric oxide production. The saliva strips are a separate wellness-tracking tool that measures salivary nitrite as an indicator of oral-microbiome nitrate conversion — they're not required to use the lozenge, but many customers use both together.

Nitric Oxide Saliva Strips

Nitric oxide (NO) is a short-lived gas made by nearly every cell in the body. It effects are widespread and diverse. NO is an important signaling molecule in our brain and a molecule that dilates our blood vessels. It keeps our blood cells from sticking together, thereby helping the flow of blood throughout our body. NO helps oxygen get to the brain and oxygen-deprived muscles during exercise. Insufficient NO is often associated with chronic problems and age related diseases.

As we grow older, our cells lose the ability to make adequate amounts of NO. Therefore, dietary inorganic prebiotic nitrates, found in many vegetables, become a critical source. Prebiotic nitrates are absorbed in the gut and circulate to the saliva glands where they are released into the mouth. Upon release, nitrate is converted to nitrite by the friendly nitrate-reducing bacteria living on the back of the tongue. The nitrite is subsequently swallowed and further reduced in the gut and circulation to nitric oxide to exert its health benefits.

Beets and leafy greens, including spinach, arugula, rhubarb, chard, kale, are rich in inorganic prebiotic nitrate. The consumption of leafy greens and other potassium nitrate–rich vegetables, are the primary source of inorganic prebiotic nitrate found in the Mediterranean, DASH and MIND diet, and the traditional Japanese diet. All of these diets have been shown to exhibit nitric oxide-mediated effects in various clinical studies demonstrating improvement of vascular wellness.

Similar to our gut, our mouths contain a mix of good and bad bacteria. Having a 'good microflora' on our tongue that converts dietary prebiotic nitrate to nitrite is critical in restoring vascular health. Eradication of oral nitrate-reducing bacteria through antiseptic mouthwash, such as chlorhexidine, or overuse of antibiotics can result in cardiometabolic challenges. Studies have also found that periodic tongue brushing may provoke the growth of these healthy nitrate-reducing bacteria. Others have found that increased dietary intake of inorganic nitrate shifted the oral microflora to a richer population of nitrate-reducing bacteria with improvements in cardiovascular wellness.

Two markers from a single saliva sample: prebiotic nitrate (the precursor from diet or supplementation) and bio-converted nitrite (a sign your oral microbiome is actively converting it). It does not measure nitric oxide itself or systemic NO levels — those are downstream of what the strip reads.

Most single-marker strips read nitrite only, telling you conversion is happening but not whether you're getting enough nitrate to begin with. MyFitStrip reads both, so you can tell "I have the raw material" apart from "my microbiome is converting it.

Check your baseline, add nitrate-rich foods or a MyFitStrip lozenge/gum, then re-check in 60–90 minutes to see your personal response. See "How to Use" for full steps.

Under 15 seconds, no lab or appointment needed.

No. The strip is a wellness tracking tool, not a diagnostic test. A reading reflects your nitrate intake and oral-microbiome activity at that moment — it isn't a health assessment, and results shouldn't be interpreted as normal/abnormal or used to assess a medical condition.

Healthy, plant-based, nitric oxide-rich diets will likely benefit your results. Eating, drinking, smoking, or using mouthwash in the 30 minutes before a check can all affect saliva chemistry and accuracy. For consistent tracking, check at the same time of day under similar conditions.

As often as fits your routine — many people use the check → add → re-check pattern to build healthy habits - and when needed supplement - to see your personalized trends over time, rather than relying on a single reading.
